In 1847 Anton Gerstner founded together with his wife Barbara a sugar bakery in Vienna. From beginning he convinced with excellent quality up to the highest places at the royal-imperial court and thus Gerstner was appointed the K&K court sugar baker's. They soon started organizing all kinds of "gastronomic" events like state receipts or big concert snacks and so Gerstner brought to life the catering.
Especially for the Gala de Austria Gerstner provides historical ball menus from their fund of recipes and providing therefore the basis for a successful ball night.
The Barcelona-based caterer Prats-Fatjó conveys these traditional recipes into highest culinary quality, providing as well excellent service quality.
